Integrations: what CICO Media detects
Where CICO Media Pro looks for image usage: WordPress, Gutenberg, Elementor, WPBakery, ACF, WooCommerce and theme settings, and what each integration covers.
integrations, elementor, acf, woocommerce, wpbakery, gutenberg, theme settings, featured image, galleries, detection, supported sources, page builder
On this page
CICO Media Pro reads supported sources without taking over their editor or media interface. When it finds an image, Where used can link back to the real content object, with the real field name where there is one.
The Integrations tab shows which sources were detected on your site. The same list appears in Usage → Detection coverage.
What each integration covers
| Source | Support | What is detected |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress | Deep | Featured images, image references in post content and core site media. |
| Gutenberg | Deep | Core Image, Gallery, Cover and Media & Text blocks, including nested blocks. |
| Elementor | Targeted | Media-shaped widget settings and referenced Elementor templates. Third-party widgets can store data differently. |
| WPBakery | Targeted | Single Image, Gallery and Image Carousel elements, plus media-shaped shortcode attributes. |
| ACF | Deep | ACF Image and Gallery fields, with the real field label and name and the owning post. |
| WooCommerce | Deep | Product and variation featured images and galleries, through the WooCommerce product API. |
| Theme settings | Targeted | Site icon and logo, Customizer header and background, and clearly media-related theme options. |
Deep means the source is read through its own structured data. Targeted means CICO Media reads the settings it can recognize with confidence.
Precision first
CICO Media only reports references it can resolve with confidence. Targeted integrations deliberately avoid guessing from arbitrary numeric data.
This means that an image can be No usage in CICO Media while a custom widget or theme code still uses it. Before deleting anything, read what No usage means and keep a backup.
Nothing to configure
Integrations are detected automatically. When a plugin such as Elementor, ACF, WooCommerce or WPBakery is active on your site, it appears as detected in the list. If you add one of them after the first scan and want to include your existing content straight away, see Rebuild the index.
